The Humane Society of Wichita County (HSWC) is a non-profit organization managed by a paid director and staff, and a local volunteer board.
The HSWC is not affiliated with any national animal welfare organization, and we do not receive funding from local or state governmental agencies. 100% of our operating expenses come from the generosity of individuals, businesses, and charitable foundations in our community.
All donations stay in Wichita County and directly fund the care of the animals. It costs approximately $250 per month to feed and care for just one animal. Our total operating expenses are around $30,000 per month.
